Story Writers and Readers

When you use this Website to create or maintain your own BreastCancerStories.org story, you are a "writer." When you use this Website to view general website content or to visit a writer's story page, you are a "reader."

Writer Registration

When registering for a place to write your story on BreastCancerStories.org you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself, and to update that information if it changes. Neglecting to keep your information current could result in the removal of your story on BreastCancerStories.org. During the registration process, you will be required to create a user name and password allowing you to upload content to your story area as well as to update your contact information. Because the majority of stories on BreastCancerStories.org are public and can be viewed by anyone, we reserve the right to randomly review story content and remove such content should it be offensive, indecent or objectionable.

Conduct

As a registered story writer, or someone who is reading a story, you agree to:

• Take full responsibility for all Content within your story page

You agree not to:

• Post any content on your story page that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, libelous, tortuous, or otherwise objectionable content

• • Upload photos of physicians or hospital staff without their permission

•  Interfere with or harass other story writers

Right to Modify or Discontinue Website

BreastCancerStories.org reserves the right at any time to temporarily or permanently modify or remove this website or any part thereof with or without prior notification. Writer Registration Information

When registering as a story writer you agree to (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as, and (b) to update your Account Profile to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

Writer Password

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Writer Password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your Writer Password. You agree to notify BreastCancerStories.org of any known or suspected unauthorized use of your Writer Password or any other breach of security. BreastCancerStories.org will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect the confidentiality of your Writer Password.

Privacy Settings

When registering as a story writer you have the option to have your story be public or private.

If electing to have your story private:

• You must create and maintain a separate reader password.
• Your story readers must know the direct web address to your story and their reader password.
• Readers are not required to register in order to read your story.

If electing to have your story public:

• You understand and agree that all content within your story may be read and viewed by the general public.

Term and Cost of Service

There is no fee for this service.

Termination

As the story writer you agree that BreastCancerStories.org may, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately delete your story from the website. Cause for such termination may include (a) violation of these TERMS of USE or other incorporated agreements or guidelines, (b) requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, (c) a request by you, (d) and unexpected technical or security issues or problems Further, you agree that all terminations for cause will be made in BreastCancerStories.org’s sole discretion and that BreastCancerStories.org will not be liable to you or any third-party for deletion of your BreastCancerStories.org.
